TEACHING ASSISTANT Grade C: point 12 to 17 depending on experience

Permanent post from 1st September 2019

Applications are welcome from well-motivated people who would be able to work effectively as part of a team, whilst also using their own initiative.

 

Foundation Stage Unit Teaching Assistant

We would like to recruit an experienced Teaching Assistant to work with the youngest children at Cheriton Fitzpaine. This post involves leading activities and initiating new learning for groups of children aged from 2 upwards. This is a part time post for 6.5 hours per day for three days each week. The salary for this post is £8.90 - £9.68 per hour, term time only, but includes 3 non-pupil days (39 weeks per year). Qualification to level 3 in childcare is a requirement for this post. This is a permanent contract from 1st September 2019.

This is a permanent contract from 1st September 2019.

ASSISTANT SCHOOL CHEF Grade A: £8.50 per hour

Fixed term contract from 1st September to 31st December 2019

Applications are welcome from people with a real interest in preparing, cooking and delivering food to children under the direction of one of our school chefs.

Assistant School Chef

From September 2019 the federation is planning to manage its own school meals. As part of this exciting new project, we would like to recruit an Assistant School Chef to work in one of our kitchens to prepare food and then deliver it to another school. This is a part time post for 2.75 hours per day, 5 days per week. The hours of work are from 9.00am to 11.45am. The salary for this post is £8.50 per hour, term time only [38 weeks per year]. The successful candidate will be expected to prepare and cook the food, put it into heatproof containers and transport it to another school. A clean driving licence and access to a vehicle is therefore needed for this post. Insurance will be arranged through the federation.

CLASS TEACHER [M1 to M6]

Maternity leave cover from 1st September 2019 until the post-holder’s return

Applications are welcome from excellent teachers with a proven track record in delivering high quality teaching and learning to work at Brampford Speke School.

 Class Teacher [Class 2]

We would like to recruit a colleague with high expectations of children and be able to demonstrate excellent teaching skills and a good understanding of how to support and challenge children’s learning. This is a full-time post for Class 2 [Years 2 and 3 currently] at Brampford Speke School from 1st September 2019 until 31st August 2020 or the post-holder’s return if earlier.

This post would suit a newly qualified or experienced teacher [current salary range M1 to M6 [currently £23,720 to £35,008]. Please state curriculum strengths and interests that will support the development of an exciting and inspiring curriculum for the future. This post could be shared between two teachers on a 60:40 or 80:20 basis with PPA time included or in addition.
