BREAKFAST CLUB AND PRE-SCHOOL TEACHING ASSISTANT

Our pre-school is expanding and we would like to recruit an experienced practitioner to work to with pre-school children and to run our Breakfast Club for all children at Cheriton Fitzpaine School. This is a fixed term contract from 14th April 2020 or as soon after as possible, until 31st December 2020. This is a temporary post until future pupil numbers are confirmed but is likely to be extended as numbers increase.

 Applications are welcome from well-motivated people who would be able to work effectively as part of a team, whilst also using their own initiative to work independently. The successful applicant will hold a Level 3 Early Years Qualification and be able to run the Breakfast Club from 8.00 to 8.50am and then work as part of the Foundation Stage Unit staff team, focusing mainly on the pre-school children.

The required hours are from 7.45am to 3.45pm on Mondays to Fridays with a half hour lunchbreak. The total hours per week is 37.5 hours, term time only but including 5 Staff Development Days. The salary for this post is Grade C (£9.55 to £9.94 per hour depending on experience).
