Class 2

First Hand and In-Depth Learning

Welcome to Class 2, which is made up of pupils from Years 2, 3 and 4. Here the children are taught by Mr Dibley and Ms Van Montfoort. The class is supported by Mrs Ayerst and Mrs Scott, who expertly support the individual learning needs of pupils across this age range. 

The curriculum in this class is carefully constructed to meet the needs of not only the different year groups but individual pupils as well. The class is taught through a broad topic based approach which enables pupils to receive the very best of first hand learning experiences and in depth learning. 

We have ‘pick and mix’ homework tasks which relate to each half-termly topic. We are avid readers in Class 2, enjoying guided and independent reading sessions, as well as devouring class texts and making good use of the school library.
