Dear Parents and Carers,
I am delighted to say that class 4 will be taking part in the Narnia Experience at St. Thomas Baptist Church on Thursday 20th November from 1.30-3pm. The children will be leaving school at 1.15pm and we hope to be back by the end of the day.
The Narnia Experience provides an immersive and magical look into the work of C.S Lewis. Class 4 are being invited to go through the wardrobe and discover Lewis’ motivations for writing such a story with a chance to meet some of the key characters from the story in a theatrical and engaging way.
The ICE experience is free, which is fantastic, but we will need to cover the cost of the coach. I am delighted to say that Jane has negotiated a smaller coach which has kept costs as low as possible. This means we are asking for a voluntary donation of £6.50 per pupil.
The children will not need to bring any additional items on the day but it will be important for them to bring their school jumpers and a coat (if needed).
We do have some spare seats on the coach, so if you would like to volunteer to accompany the children you would be more than welcome. Please message Jane in the office.
With thanks
Miss Jones
