PTFA

Thorverton Parents, Teachers and Friends Association (PTFA) is open to all parents, teachers and friends of the school.  There is no need to be a current parent, just someone with an interest in the school and a commitment to helping to raise funds to supplement the learning experience offered to the children at Thorverton C of E Primary School. 

Money raised by the PTFA has funded, amongst other things, coaches for school trips, gifts from Father Christmas presented at the Christmas lunch each year and a new outdoor classroom to help us make the most of our school grounds.  We hold a number of fundraising events each year, examples include film nights, Auction of Promises, Christmas fairs, pamper evenings and wine-tasting evenings.  We also provide refreshments at school functions and events throughout the school year.
