PTA
The Cheriton Fitzpaine PTA has been running successfully for over 30 years. It is a thriving organisation that is dedicated to raising much-needed funds for the school and supporting good relationships between parents and teachers.
What does the PTA do?
The PTA helps to provide the things for which the school does not receive a sufficient budget and these essential funds enable the school in countless ways to deliver the national curriculum more effectively.
Who are the PTA? How can I get involved?
Every parent or carer with a child at the school is a member of the PTA. The volunteer PTA Committee are a friendly, welcoming group who organise regular, fun events involving parents and carers, the children, teachers and the wider village community. Popular events include the annual Christmas fayre, family discos, pub quizzes, family bingo, car washes and of course our annual year 6 leavers' event. The Committee is very grateful for and rely on the support of a great many parents and carers to help to arrange these events and new ideas are always very welcome. Our meetings are relaxed and informal and the events are great fun - there has been many a new friendship formed whilst manning the bar, decorating Santa's grotto or hosing down dirty Land Rovers! If you would like to hear more about what we do, please contact a member of the Committee.
