Farmwise Trip KS2

Dear parents and carers of pupils in KS2,
We are very excited to be visiting this year’s Farmwise event, which is to be held at Westpoint Arena on Tuesday 7th October.
During this event, children will learn:
- More about farming in Devon County Council
- How food is produced on Devon’s Farms
- How farming links to the Countryside

We will be leaving school at 9.15am, so please could we ask all pupils to be in school promptly on this day. We will be back in time for the end of the school day. Pupils will need to wear their usual school uniform, comfortable shoes, and a waterproof coat. Children will also need a packed lunch and water bottle. If your child usually receives free school meals please contact the office if you would like a school packed lunch.
We have booked a coach for this event, and are asking parents for a voluntary contribution of £6.50 to cover this. Payment can be made on MyChildAtSchool (MCAS)
