Teacher

The Executive Headteacher and Governors of the Exe Valley Federation wish to appoint an excellent classroom teacher for September 2022. The Federation comprises six village primary schools within a 8-mile area in Mid Devon and shares a common vision for excellence and a drive to continuously improve outcomes for all our children, both emotionally and academically. Three of the schools are Church Schools with a strong Christian ethos and all staff are expected to uphold this ethos. The successful applicants may be asked to work at any of the Federation schools in the future.

 

Class Teacher with experience and expertise of teaching the Year 2 to 4 Curriculum in mixed age classes. Applicants should have an excellent understanding of the systematic teaching of phonics and ensuring that children make the progress necessary to be confident readers by the end of Keystage 1 as well as a good understanding of the lower Keystage 2 curriculum. This is a full-time post and is a fixed term contract until 31st August 2023, pending a staffing review.
